As our Function Lead People Services (m/f/d), you’ll lead our five-person People Services team with members based in Germany and France. Together, you’ll ensure smooth and compliant HR operations for around 400 employees – covering everything from admin and payroll to onboarding, legal, compliance, and collaboration with the French works council. You’ll actively shape and improve our processes, create synergies across locations, and drive automation and digitization – building a scalable HR setup that fits our remote-first culture.
Your role
Leadership, development and empowerment of a five-person People Services team responsible for Payroll, HR Administration, On-/Offboarding, People-related Legal/Compliance, and Works Council management for France – including fostering cross-country collaboration
Identify, challenge, and improve our HR processes and workflows – establishing shared standards and efficient solutions between Germany and France (e.g. maternity reboarding, interfaces with People Controlling)
Build and evolve lean, digital, and scalable HR services to boost efficiency and employee experience
Collaborate closely with leads and stakeholders across Germany and France to develop pragmatic, compliant, and data-informed HR solutions

Job requirements
Your profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in People Services / HR Operations, including leadership of small teams
Strong knowledge of German labor law, combined with a background in professionalized HR administration and process design, optimization, and digitalization
Fluency in German and English (spoken and written); French is a plus
Your mindset

Digital-first – You’re excited about identifying and using tools, automation, and AI to make People Operations leaner and more effective.
